Mother’s Day, which this year falls on Sunday May 13th is the perfect time to spoil Mum and show her how much you appreciate all she does for you.

It can be difficult to find the right gift for Mother’s Day, so why not take Mum out for a whole day of activities (as a bonus – you get to enjoy them too!)?

We’ve compiled the perfect list of activities covering relaxation, decadence, shopping and fitness to keep Mum smiling all day long – without leaving Robina!

Pick one or do them all, either way, they are sure fire winners to show Mum just how much you care this Mother’s Day.

Treat mum to a massage at Ella Bache

Start Mum’s day off with a pamper and relaxation session at Ella Bache in Robina Town Centre.  There are three very special offers available for Mum, so you can give the gift of radiant skin on her special day!

The ‘Essential Radiance’ one hour package includes a signature facial, honey and almond décolletage treatment and hand or foot exfoliation for $99.

The ‘Classic Relaxation’ is a 90 minute treatment, which includes a signature facial, hand treatment and 30 minute relaxation massage, and can be purchased for $149.

If you want to really splurge, the ‘Ultimate Rejuvenation’ two hour package includes a signature facial, full-body exfoliation, 30 minute relaxation massage and foot treatment mask for $199.

You could even book Mum in for the IPL Collagen Stimulation Facial – the latest in non-invasive, anti-ageing facial treatment. The treatment targets loss of elasticity and uneven skin tone, leaving Mum with fresh, youthful skin.

Indulge in a high tea at Passiontree Velvet

The ultimate Mother’s Day decadence is a delicious high tea for you and Mum – and what better place to tantalise your taste buds than Passiontree Velvet in Robina Town Centre?

This English high tea house, Parisian patisserie and Belgian chocolatier is offering a special Mother’s Day High Tea for two for $75, which includes a sweet box of six macarons, valued at $18.

Available on both May 12 (in case you want to get in early for extra brownie points!) or May 13, you can munch on an array of ribbon sandwiches, freshly baked scones, cakes and creamy chocolates.

The delicious treats will be topped off with the finest quality full-leaf and craft blends by Harney and Sons.

And, if you want a special gift to take home, the chefs have created a Mother’s Day cake in the form of  a strawberry bouquet, so the indulgence can continue long after the final bite of high tea.

Stroll through one of Robina’s many parklands

Finish this special day off with a leisurely stroll through one of Robina’s picturesque parklands.

Our little patch of paradise is filled with lush green grass and walking tracks that seem to go on forever, so tie up your shoes, put on your favourite activewear and hit the pavement.

You and Mum can chat about the lovely day you’ve had while getting your heart pumping, releasing those endorphins – and, if you did indulge in a treat or two together, you will be able to head home guilt-free!

We recommend a walk around one of our favourites, Robina Common.  One of Robina’s longest established parks, Robina Common is shortly due to undergo an upgrade, as announced by Division 11 Councillor Hermann Vorster.  Read about the proposed upgrade and watch Councillor Vorster’s video by clicking here.
