The Women’s Health and Wellbeing Expo is in town this weekend, bringing to Robina an exhibition of wellness, insight and inspiration for Gold Coast City women.

First held in 2006, the annual Women’s Health and Wellbeing Expo aims to provide opportunity for Gold Coast City women to enrich their lives through health and wellbeing, including fitness, food, beauty and finance.

Over two huge days this Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2014, a range of speakers, workshops and activities are planned, all promoting women’s health and wellness.

This massive line-up includes skincare, makeup, hair and beauty, cooking demonstrations from ‘4 ingredients’ founder Kim McCosker, health talks such as ‘The Breast History’, ‘Ovarian Cancer’ and ‘Type 2 Diabetes’ and activities such as belly dancing, pilates, yoga and zumba.

There’s a lesson for everything at the expo, from first aid and social media, to using your dreams to improve your life, as well as the very practical ‘how to fix a flat tyre’. Masters Robina are also on board, offering workshops on Saturday and Sunday to master your gardening skills.

New in 2014, an opening night will be held Friday 16 May 2014, showcasing ‘Guidance from Beyond’ by psychic and medium Nicole McHenry. There’ll be drinks and nibbles and a chance to get powdered and pampered at special Stefan stations.

Following a free early morning yoga session, the Fun, Fit and Fab Women’s Breakfast will wow on Sunday morning, featuring local celebrity vet Dr. Geoff Wilson, who will share his inspirational stories of his recent Pink Polar Expedition to Antarctica in the name of breast cancer research.

All under one roof in central Robina, this free community event has something for women of all ages.
