Welcome to Gold Coast City, Quest Robina

We are so pleased that even a global pandemic couldn’t put the brakes on the opening of the first Quest Hotel on the Gold Coast.  The largest and fastest growing apartment hotel operator in Australasia has shown a major vote of confidence that the region’s economic boom will continue post lockdown.

The $32M Quest Robina, which opened its doors on Monday 4th May 2020, fills the increasing demand for business and leisure activity in this fast-growing, central destination.

Despite only opening days ago, it is fantastic to see reviews already on TripAdvisor, with one guest saying,

“everything about the place is excellent. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate. Convenient location. Overall 5 stars will definitely stay there again.”

Featuring 80 serviced apartments, a gym, lap pool and conference facilities, Quest Robina is conveniently positioned near Robina’s train station and transport hub, within walking distance of CBUS Super Stadium and Robina Hospital.  It is just across the road from Robina Group’s new $170M Vue Terrace Homes project.

Experienced franchisees Josh and Fleur Nadzielski, former owners of Quest Griffith in New South Wales, have already recognised a way to help the local community.

According to Ms Nadzielski, “using the new Quest Healthcare Assist booking platform during the Covid-19 emergency, ensures some of our rooms are available to frontline health professionals, giving them a chance to rest and recover from the long hours they are putting in.”

Quest’s Chief Operations Officer David Mansfield is confident Quest Robina will be a great success with the Gold Coast’s population expected to hit 1.5 million people by 2050.

“When domestic travel is reinstated, we will undeniably see a surge in both corporate bookings, and as the newest hotel on the Gold Coast located in a key business precinct of Robina, we anticipate Quest Robina will be the pick of places to stay,” said Mr Mansfield.

“We have already secured long-term bookings of three months plus for business professionals later in the year, and are also taking bookings from leisure travellers locking in their winter getaways in the Sunshine State,” added Mr Nadzielski.

Quest Robina’s new owners say they will also be looking to help support the local job market, aiming to employ approximately 15 staff across management, front of house and housekeeping.

“We know that great employees offering excellent service are the lifeblood of our business. We want the best people working with us so that our guests always get the best experience possible,” says Mr Nadzielski.

Quest Robina’s interiors embrace the relaxed Gold Coast spirit, with a sunset colour palette of navy, dusty blue, peach and flecks of pink, while organic-shaped timber stools, woven wicker lampshades and linen look fabrics create an inviting connection to nature.

About the developer, Pellicano

As previously reported by insideR, Robina Group sold the site to diversified property group Pellicano in 2018, which recently completed the $32-million Quest Robina development.  It is one of three new Quest offerings by Pellicano which are slated to open in 2020.

According to Pellicano managing director Nando Pellicano, “we seek to build quality amenities in locations that are likely to need them in coming years. Robina is an example of a thriving hub that’s going to grow more and more as residents identify this growth area as an attainable suburb of the Gold Coast.”

Robina, designed to support the Gold Coast’s expansion, is becoming a hive of business and economic activity with $600-million worth of major projects underway.
