Scottsdale Drive and Christine Ave intersection at Robina is currently being upgraded by City of Gold Coast to improve traffic flow, efficiency and safety.
The upgrade will see the existing roundabout replaced with traffic signals with upgraded street lighting.
Furthermore, there will also be a slip lane added on Scottsdale Drive to help improve traffic flow for south bound traffic turning left into Christine Ave.
Once completed, the project will improve traffic flow, pedestrian facilities, road cycle facilities and public transport facilities.
If all goes to plan the works should be completed by December 2016.
Drivers should also note that U-Turns are not allowed at the intersection now and after the project is completed.
