Robina Group’s $65 million CityVillage Terraces project has struck a chord with buyers after notching up 24 sales out of the 30 homes released in the first stage, in just five weeks from the project’s launch.

The swift sales run, which has seen close to 80 per cent of stock in the first stage swept up, means just six terrace homes remain for sale in stage one.

CityVillage Terraces sales manager Azura Griffen said the project’s proximity to Robina Town Centre and its central Gold Coast City location had appealed to local and broader markets.

She said the terraces’ contemporary designs and the project’s lake frontage had also galvanised buyers looking to upsize their lifestyle.

“Buyers have been attracted by the outstanding convenience and lifestyle benefits associated with being just 450 metres from Robina Town Centre’s shopping, dining and entertainment precinct,” Mrs Griffen said.

“The project is in the heart of Gold Coast City and is also proximate to Bond University, Robina Train station and Hospital and has ease of access to the Pacific Motorway.

“Robina has an established hub for business, education, health and transport but it is still in expansion mode and buyers have identified great value in buying into the suburb.”

Mrs Griffen said the market’s response to CityVillage Terraces could also be attributed to Robina Group’s extensive research into the wants and needs of buyers in today’s market.

“All terraces are being sold on freehold titles which eliminates the requirement of a body corporate and its associated fees,” she said.

“That is great for buyers as it reduces their weekly outgoings.

“Three-bedroom plus media room terraces are priced from $469,000 which buyers have identified as fantastic value in the current market.

“The price point also means first home buyers can access the State Government’s $15,000 Great Start Grant and are exempt from paying stamp duty which has proven to give them the boost they need to get a foothold in the market with their first new home.”

Civil works on the project have now commenced on site with CityVillage visible from several sections of Robina Parkway and Christine Avenue according to project manager Colin Hughes.

The commencement of civil works has been the catalyst to burgeoning enquiry through the new onsite sales centre as passersby start to see the project take shape.

Robina Group director Tony Tippett said local, interstate and international interest in CityVillage Terraces was evidence of growing confidence in the Gold Coast City property market.

“Enquiry has been very strong and the response has been pleasingly positive which shows we are ticking the right boxes for buyers by building the right product in the right location,” he said.

“Robina Group has a strong reputation and a long list of successfully completed projects which has cemented buyer confidence.”

The first stage of CityVillage Terraces comprises 30, three-bedroom, two-bathroom luxury terrace homes with 160 sqm of living space, priced at $469,000.

All terraces feature media rooms, gourmet kitchens, study nooks with clever storage spaces and private, landscaped courtyards.

The project occupies part of a four hectare lakefront site in CBDRobina, with direct access to Robina Town Centre via a landscaped lakeside walkway underneath Robina Parkway.

CityVillage Terraces is also within walking distance of Robina train station, Robina Hospital and Medical Precinct, Bond University Institute of Health & Sport, Skilled Park Stadium, public and private schools and several golf courses.

Robina Group is currently operating an onsite sales office from Wednesday to Sunday 10am-5pm, located on The Crestway at Robina.
