Property management stalwart Keith Mouatt has secured the management rights to Robina Group’s $34 million Riverlily terrace home community on the waterfront in Robina.
The development, which comprises a total of 71 terrace homes in a secluded location near Cbus Super Stadium, sold out in less than three months and is on track for completion early next year.
Mr Mouatt, who has managed various properties across Brisbane over the past 10 years, has purchased the management rights for an undisclosed price, and will become the dedicated on-site caretaker and letting agent at Riverlily.
“I’ve also purchased a three bedroom terrace home in the community, so am looking forward to calling Riverlily home,” he said.
“The geographically central location and surrounding scenery in Robina, and the design and quality of the homes all appealed to me.
“I had been looking to move to the Gold Coast to make a lifestyle change and Riverlily and the amenity rich location just ticked all the boxes.”
As the dedicated on-site manager, Mr Mouatt will be responsible for management, letting and overseeing maintenance at Riverlily.
He worked as a qualified land surveyor and in land management and natural resources for the Queensland Government, before purchasing his first management rights business.
Resort Brokers broker Alex Cook, who negotiated the management rights sale, said he had received strong interest from a range of purchasers, particularly those based in south-east Queensland.
“I received interest from a number of operators including those looking to add to their management rights portfolio, wanting to get back into the industry and several new comers,” he said.
“Robina Group has an extremely strong reputation having operated in Robina for more than three decades and their track record in delivering quality communities is second to none.
“The location of Riverlily overlooking extensive green open space, set to be developed into parklands by Gold Coast City Council, provided an appealing aspect that also made the community stand out.”
Along with Cbus Super Stadium, a range of amenities are in easy reach including Robina Town Centre and its popular extensive shopping and dining, an established business community, Schools, Golf Courses, Robina Hospital and medical precinct, Robina train station and transport hub,and easy access to the M1.
Robina Group Director Tony Tippett said Mr Mouatt was the ideal fit for Riverlily and his extensive experience would ensure the community was managed to the highest standard.
“As a resident and a manager, Mr Mouatt will be a dedicated manager and I have no doubt he will bring the same high quality attention to the Riverlily community as he has to the previous developments he has managed,” he said.
Riverlily in Robina is on track for completion early next year and will deliver quality, modern, low maintenance living within walking distance to Robina Town Centre’s shopping, dining and entertainment precinct
