Robina Group has released the first stage of a new $65 million terrace-home project which will ultimately see the creation of 130 dwellings in a new urban village in the heart of CBDRobina.

The launch of City Village Terraces comes hot on the heels of last month’s sell-out of the Group’s $40 million Paddington Terraces @ Robina development, where sales of the project’s 82 homes came close to outstripping construction progress.

It is welcome news to buyers who missed out on the last few terrace homes at Paddington Terraces @ Robina which were all snapped up in the space of a week.

Continuing the group’s highly successful CBD terrace home formula, City Village Terraces will offer a modern take on the traditional Sydney terrace, set against a stunning lake backdrop just a few minutes’ walk from the city’s major shopping, dining and entertainment precinct, Robina Town Centre.

Robina Group director Tony Tippett said the developer was catering to the growing demand for terrace-style living in the geographic centre of Gold Coast City.

He said the smart, modern styling of City Village Terraces and the lifestyle benefits associated with its proximity to Robina Town Centre would appeal to a broad buyer demographic.

“The success of Paddington Terraces has cemented our decision to move forward with our next project and we’re very excited the market has accelerated our plans to do so,” Mr Tippett said.

“City Village Terraces will not only help meet the demand for quality housing in Robina, but add a fresh new offering to the region’s residential property market.

“In designing the project we have employed a similar design philosophy as with Paddington Terraces @ Robina while incorporating styling updates to meet the expectations of an astute market.

“This has resulted in a very dynamic and contemporary product that we are confident will appeal to a range of buyers from first home buyers to empty-nesters and investors.”

Mr Tippett said the terraces would be sold on freehold title as house and land packages, in turn eliminating the presence of a body corporate and its associated fees.

“These house and land packages will be attractive to purchasers who will reap all the benefits of living in a masterplanned project without the ongoing costs and regulations associated with community title living.”

City Village Terraces’ 130 residences will be built over four stages, the first of which will comprise thirty 160 sqm three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes, priced from $469,000 to $479,000.

Stage one terrace homes will feature open-plan living areas which flow through to private, covered patios and landscaped gardens.

The urban-style homes will include gourmet kitchens with stone bench tops and quality European appliances, study nooks and media rooms, clever, abundant storage spaces and downstairs powder rooms.

Each of the terrace homes will have direct internal access to garaged car spaces, set back from the village’s trendy tree-lined streets.

A mix of architect-designed facades, combined with raw-look materials, will channel an urban-industrial vibe.

The project will be set on a four hectare lakefront site in the heart of CBDRobina with frontage to The Crestway, Robina Parkway and Christine Avenue.

The project will have direct pedestrian access to Robina Town Centre underneath Robina Parkway via a landscaped, lakeside walkway.

City Village Terraces’ central location is also within walking distance of Robina train station, Robina Hospital and Medical Precinct, Skilled Park Stadium, public and private schools and is nearby several golf courses and the Pacific Motorway (M1).

Robina Group is currently operating an onsite sales office from Wednesday to Sunday 10am-5pm, located on The Crestway at Robina.
