Monday 30 June 2014 is Social Media Day, #SMDAY, Mashable’s 5th annual recognition of the digital revolution that is social media. Across the globe, meetups are organized with fellow social media enthusiasts and people come together to celebrate the global social media movement.
Gold Coast City’s meetup is planned for Monday 30 June 2014 at Media Bootcamp / Webflow Design in Varsity Lakes, where the theme is “Putting the social back into social media”.
Guests are invited to attend for an evening of fun, socializing and social media strategising. There’ll be a panel of local business community members who’ll share their tips of using social media effectively for business. There’ll be games and social media challenges.
There’ll also be the opportunity for like-minded digital people to network, interact and socialise face to face – this could be the platform that launches your next digital deal, opportunity or connection.
