Do you feel like dancing? Dancing like nobody is watching?

The latest trend to hit Gold Coast City from our friends down south, is a wonderful free dance night called No Lights No Lycra. Spend a couple of hours dancing to a wide variety of old, new, fun, silly, and just plain fab tracks! No drugs, no alcohol and open to all genders and ages – just good fun!

The organisers believe they have created a space that is inclusive and non-judgmental where people can just let loose, relax and move to the music.

Started in Melbourne in 2009 by Alice Glenn and Heidi Barrett, this idea is gaining momentum and finally arrived here! No light, no lycra, no teacher, no steps to learn, no technique… just liberating freedom of movement. Sounds great, doesn’t it?

No Lights No Lycra happens every Wednesday 6.30pm at Rabbit and Cocoon in Miami. To find out more visit the No Lights No Lycra Facebook
