A private Gold Coast City investor has secured a leased stand-alone office in the Robina Group’s $14 million CityPods development at CBDRobina for almost $1.04 million.
The 258sqm dual level CityPod is occupied by real estate project marketing firm Austra Group, which is less than 12 months into a three year lease, with a three year option.
CityPods is a unique office concept allowing businesses to secure their own drive-up headquarters on Scottsdale Drive, in the heart of CBDRobina.
Construction has recently been completed on the final offices in CityPods, which is more than 65 per cent sold or leased to national and local businesses including AMBS Solutions, GC Property Rentals, Pyramed and Airport Consulting Group.
Ray White Surfers Paradise commercial sales specialist Adam Young negotiated the latest sale and said the contemporary design and build, along with the prime central location, had appealed to the investor.
“CityPods offers stylish and solid construction, functional spaces and security, and the location is exceptional, with the facilities in and around it first class,” he said.
“Astute investors see the benefit of holding property in sought-after CBDRobina due to this mix of infrastructure and connectivity, with the offices positioned within walking distance to train stations, buses, major shopping centres and moments from the M1 Motorway and key arterial roads.
“Its location on busy Scottsdale Drive also offers high exposure in a growing business precinct.”
Mr Young said the opportunities to purchase quality new office space, with a secure tenant in place, were also rare.
“As CityPods is newly constructed, there are depreciation advantages, and a covenant is in place that will protect its quality and value over the long term,” he said.
“With nothing else like CityPods available, investors see the rental potential these properties offer in the years to come, and are moving quickly so they don’t miss out.”
Robina Group director Tony Tippett said since the project’s completion, and the recent opening of two new furnished display offices, there had been strong sales and leasing enquiry for the remaining CityPods.
“The opportunities to secure a space in CityPods are becoming limited and with high demand, we are expecting the final offices will not remain available for long,” he said.
“Those who are interested in moving to, or investing in, CityPods should get in soon to ensure their choice of the remaining offices, which offer an unparalleled central location, high exposure, branding opportunities and modern design.”
Remaining offices at CityPods range from 163sqm to 304sqm, are priced from $645,000 and available for lease from $335/sqm.
Each CityPod features an open-plan design with polished concrete floors, a concrete and timber reception desk, feature timber staircase, kitchenette, and strong corporate branding opportunities with high exposure to a busy street frontage.
The Robina Group celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. As one of the key stakeholders in CBDRobina’s continuing success, the Robina Group has survived all the challenges of a long-term pioneering project to become recognised as one of Australia’s most successful and awarded development organisations.
