Gold Coast City’s very own jazz star is getting ready for the final TV Head show of the year at the Gold Coast Arts Centre Basement.

Presented by Alivelive.TV and proudly sponsored by Robina Group, Bec Whitehead hosts TV Head, a variety show held at the The Arts Centre Gold Coast that combines live music performances with interviews with well-known Gold Coast and interstate celebrities.

In the midst of the preparations for her third and last show for 2013 tomorrow, Bec said she is getting great feedback from the public.

“Everyone’s agreed the Gold Coast needs something like this,” she said.

Different up-and-coming artists perform at every show, and for the final show of 2013 Roman Albert and the Jesse Green Band will entertain the live audience.

“Roman Albert is an amazing rapper, he can take any words from anyone’s mouth and will rap about it,” Bec said.

“He will make you love rap, he’s very smart with his vocabularly and the music he puts on is warm and welcoming.”

Gold Coast City Mayor Tom Tate , Big Brother’s Madeline Cogar and Comedian Mark McConville will be the guests at tomorrow night’s show, with an aim to look beyond their titles and into their personal lives.

“I’ll be asking the guests about their jobs, what it’s like being the mayor or being in the Big Brother House,” Bec said.

“I want the audience to get to know these people more personally, rather than just their jobs.”

While Bec’s passion lies with singing, she said the opportunities TV Head has given her will help her career in the future.

“I’ve always wanted to be a solo artist,” she said.

“I got this opportunity and I took it, knowing that I need to be a double or a triple threat in the entertainment industry,

“If I end up doing presenting one day I’ll know the experience I have now will really help me.”

The final TV Head show for 2013 will be held tomorrow night at The Arts Centre Gold Coast. For more information and to purchase tickets contact Bec at bec.whitehead@hotmail.com or on 0414 873 332. You can follow Bec on Facebook.
