Celebrating its 5th successful year, the Broadbeach Jazz Festival kicks off this Friday 16 August 2013 in Gold Coast City.
Spanning over three huge days and brought to you by the Broadbeach Alliance, who also deliver Blues on Broadbeach and Broadbeach Country Music Festival, the Jazz Festival promises a jam packed weekend calendar of local, national and internationally acclaimed artists.
Headlining the event is Aussie singing superstar Kate Ceberano, who is expected to draw huge crowds of 20,000 plus with her world-famous alluring, soulful and sensual sounds.
The quality lineup also features 19 year old Australia’s Got Talent finalist and MusicOz Awards “Best Jazz Performer” Liam Burrows, an exciting emerging talent, who has been described as gifted and prodigious.
Not to be missed are performances by The Gentlemen’s Swing Club, New York Jazz, Ashley Lewis, soulful Latin Jazz with Suavito and the Afro Cuban Salsa Ensemble.
The event is completely free and will be held across a number of outdoor stages and Broadbeach venues.
