It’s been hailed as Gold Coast City’s ‘best party of the year’ and it’s happening at Main Beach this very weekend.
It’s Polo by the Sea; the sport of kings has arrived in Gold Coast City.
Held at Doug Jennings Park in Main Beach, Polo by the Sea kicks off this Saturday 31 May 2014 and according to organisers, it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.
Numbers have far exceeded expectations and have almost doubled from last years’ event. The Private, VIP and Corporate Marquee’s have all sold out and sponsorships have soared, which Polo Events Australia says represents Gold Coast City’s improved economic climate.
The preliminary match up will see Team CBA take on Team Halifax, with the main match showcasing Gold Coast City vs. a Melbourne team.
Limited tickets are still available for the Bluesky Brewery Polo Lounge, where guests can mix and mingle in the casual ‘beer garden’ style polo lounge and meet star players and other polo professionals. There’ll be drinks at a cash bar, door prizes, Fashions on the Field, snacks and a DJ spinning tracks and of course, there’ll be polo.
