CBDRobina has scooped the pool in the 2014 Gold Coast City Master Builders Awards, with several Robina and Varsity Lakes projects featuring strongly in the winners list.
Condev Constructions took out five wins from their eight entries, awarded as the best in Gold Coast City for renovation up to $2 million, medium-rise residential housing (units/3 storey), low-rise multi residential housing (townhouses), industrial building up to $5 million and health and education facilities up to $5 million.
The Condev winning projects included Robina’s Paddington Terraces, comprised of 82 two and three bedroom terraces with modern designs, spacious layouts and contemporary finishes, as well as innovative industrial building Robina Storage Centre in Robina’s Scottsdale Drive.
Condev also built Robina’s James Frizelle’s Automotive Group dealership and although they missed out on the Retail Facilities over $5 million award, Condev Managing Director Steve Marais has expressed great pride in this project, overcoming continual extreme weather conditions to deliver the project four weeks ahead of schedule.
Also featured in the winners list was CBDRobina’s CityPods project, with Rawcorp taking out best commercial building up to $5 million for this modern, unique and dynamic commercial stand-alone office building in Robina’s Scottsdale Drive.
The award-winning CityPods design features include sustainable sound and energy-efficient fixtures, quality finishes with a modern mix of exposed concrete and timber and minimal, open-plan spacious layout.
Rawcorp’s David Walton commends his team on their outstanding work on the CityPods project, with it’s unique one-off design proving challenging under time constraints and collaboration and coordination being key to their success in delivering the project on time.
