Baby, it’s cold outside but we have just the cure for those pre-winter blues – from this Thursday 22 May 2014, Broadbeach heats up with four huge days of entertainment for the 13th annual Blues on Broadbeach festival.

For 13 years, this exciting, home-grown Queensland event has been rocking Gold Coast City’s iconic dining and nightlife precinct of Broadbeach.

A non-ticketed, completely free event, Blues on Broadbeach brings together local, national and international musical talent in a village-like atmosphere across various venues and open air stages throughout Broadbeach.

Recognised for it’s huge contribution to tourism and economic boost for Gold Coast City, as well as the calibre of artists and delivery of epic entertainment, Blues on Broadbeach was awarded the Best Regional Event and Best Cultural, Arts or Music Event in Queensland at the 2013 Australian Event Awards.

This festival is no shrinking violet. Organisers Broadbeach Alliance, are tipping this years’ event to be the biggest and best yet.

According to Broadbeach Alliance CEO, Jan McCormick, Blues on Broadbeach has become ‘a must-see part of any music-lovers calendar’.

From this Thursday, Blues on Broadbeach will showcase some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Australian music icons James Reyne, Joe Camilleri, Daryl Brathwaite and Ross Wilson in the Time of my Life Band, Diesel, Russell Morris, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, the Backsliders, Eugene Hideaway Bridges, Bondi Cigars and much, much more.
