Robina Town Centre is throwing its support behind the World’s Greatest Shave this weekend to help improve the lives of people living with leukaemia, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.

In an effort to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation, people can register to have their heads shaved or coloured on Sunday 16 March between 11am and 2pm on Level 2 (under the chandelier).

To register or for more information please contact Kim Logue from the Leukaemia Foundation on 07 3318 4478 or email klogue@leukaemia.org.au.

This year more than 11,500 people will be diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or a related blood disorder.

Blood cancers are the second biggest cause of cancer death in Australia and money raised through the World’s Greatest Shave goes towards research to find better treatments and cures.

Another way in which you can help people struggling with blood disorders is to give blood, two thirds of blood donations go towards helping people battling cancer.  To find out how you can give blood, contact your nearest centre by calling 13 95 96 or visit donateblood.com.au.
