One of Australia’s top military bands, The Australian Army Band Brisbane, is set to play a free concert this Saturday 22 March at the Robina Community Centre.

The 40 piece band, which plays a variety of music including from Broadway and Star Wars, as well as military, will play from 11.30am till 12.30pm and is expected to attract a strong crowd.

Presented by City of Gold Coast, entry to the concert is free, however people are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good seat. A raffle will be held at the event to raise money for Crime Stoppers.

Formed in 1949, the Australian Army Band Brisbane has played as far away as East Timor and has been granted a number of accolades, including the freedom of Gold Coast City in 1989.
