Computers are confusing, and tend to cause us trouble at the most inconvenient times.

If the old trick of turning your PC on and off isn’t working, Robina resident and owner of Aussie Tech Heads, Glenn Goodman will bring his mobile PC repair service to you.

Glenn started Aussie Tech Heads two years ago when he decided to turn his love of computers into a business.

“I’ve always had an interest in computers,” he says.

“I’ve worked different jobs throughout my life and only about two years ago I decided to pursue a career that I’m really interested in.”

Aussie Tech Heads services clients in the Robina/Mudgeeraba area, or you can bring your computer into Glenn’s Robina workshop.

In addition to de-bugging your computer, Aussie Tech Heads offers fully managed web hosting and web design at affordable prices.

Glenn’s passion for IT means he goes the extra mile to make his customers happy.

“I like to see things through to a successful resolution,” he says.

“I can explain a customer’s PC issues to them without the ‘geek speak’.”

Glenn says CBDRobina’s central location, growing resident population and numerous business services make it a great place to live and run his business.

“I use the Robina library a lot, I’ll go down and borrow computer-related books,” he says.

“I also point people towards the library for tuition; they run some fantastic classes at the Community Centre too.”

When he’s attending conferences or courses, Glenn catches the train to Brisbane from Robina Station.

“Sometimes Microsoft might launch a product in Brisbane and the accessibility and travel times are great, I can be up there in an hour and 10 minutes, no parking, no worries.”

For the tech heads, Glenn hosts a weekly podcast, with 1,000 – 1,500 listeners tuning in each week to hear the latest technology news.

The Aussie Tech Heads podcast has been airing weekly since 2006 and is in the Top 10 Tech Podcasts in Australia.

You can listen to Aussie Tech Heads live on Thursdays at 7:30pm, or watch the episodes here.
