Summer is in the air and nothing symbolises the sunshine season more than the backdrop of bright blue skies and the long, luscious stretches of green vines at a winery. Add delicious food, fine wine and amazing live music and you have A Day on the Green.

A series of outdoor concert events, A Day on the Green stretches across summer at multiple vineyard locations across Australia and New Zealand. There are about 30 concerts per season and A Day on the Green celebrates diversity, featuring an array of musical genres.

For Gold Coast City, Sirromet Winery in Mt Cotton hosts A Day on the Green and this seasons line-up is set to showcase some of the most celebrated national and international artists.

Sunday 9 November sees the legendary Aussie musical veteran Jimmy Barnes take the stage, as well as punk rock prodigies The Living End and singing sensation Mahalia Barnes.

On Sunday 16 November, Sirromet Wines will host one of the best-selling music artists of all time, multiplatinum and multi-award winning singer and songwriter Mariah Carey. Musical legend Mariah will share the stage with Australian X Factor star Nathaniel and Gold Coast City’s very own Australian Idol Casey Barnes.

Rounding out the Mt Cotton series is the March 29th concert event featuring rock icon Billy Idol, with special guests Cheap Trick, The Angels and Choirboys.

In addition to the huge live music events, each A Day on the Green event is BYO food (perfect for picnics on the green) and provides opportunity for prizes, meeting artists at the signing desk and purchase of a large range of merchandise.

Resident DJ Grand Master Baitz will entertain the masses between acts, promising a party atmosphere that doesn’t sleep.

With Sirromet Wines in Mt Cotton an easy 40 minute drive from Robina, the summer series of A Day on the Green is a must do for all Gold Coasters season calendar.
