New Office Space for Sought-After Gold Coast CBD
Robina Group has commenced an extensive $2 million refurbishment of Robina Professional Centre, after purchasing the vacant three-level commercial building late last year.
Multi-award winning builder, Woollam Constructions, has been appointed to undertake the revamp and extension of the centre, at 36 Laver Drive in CBDRobina.
Demolition of the former interior fitout is now well underway, with the project on track to be completed by early March.
The refurbishment will provide 2,138sqm of net lettable area, with offices available to lease from 152sqm up to full floors. There are 64 onsite carparks and highly exposed signage opportunities.
Enterprise-grade, high-speed fibre optic internet has been connected to the building and is now available to each space via a streamlined connection process with very competitive rates starting from $295/month.
Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater said there had already been strong interest from businesses for the reinvigorated business address, which has approval for office, medical and educational uses.
“We have been receiving a lot of enquiry due to the prime location, affordable high-speed internet connectivity, and the high quality and flexibility of the spaces,” he said.
“In particular, there has been strong interest from those in the medical and health sectors, on the back of the significant investment by major health groups in Robina.
“This includes the opening of the new $24 million Robina Private Hospital, which complements the existing public hospital, and a $64 million investment across multiple sites by Australian Unity Healthcare Property Trust (HPT).”
Mr Slater said the proximity to Robina Town Centre, Robina’s train station and transport hub and the Pacific Motorway added to the appeal.
“The ease of accessibility and high level of conveniences in easy reach for both staff and customers ticks the boxes for business owners,” he said.
“The high level of blue-chip companies, government departments and entrepreneurial businesses based in Robina has led to high absorption rates and a very low office vacancy rate of just 5.6 per cent, so businesses are keen to act fast.”
Woollam Constructions’ Gold Coast business manager, Mark Russell, said more than 40 workers were on site at Robina Professional Centre completing the major refurbishment and extension.
“The interior demolition work is well underway, paving the way for the new fit-out to commence,” he said.
“At the same time, we are starting work on the street level extension, which will add an additional 460sqm of office space, and we will be modernising the exterior facade.”
