Leading national corporate and small business insurance broking firm, SRG Corporate has leased new Gold Coast City office space in the Robina Group’s CityPods commercial precinct in CBDRobina.
The company will make the move to the new 190sqm stand-alone office at CityPods next month (September) on a four year lease, with a four year option, negotiated by Julie Wattam of Ridgeline Management.
SRG Corporate is the latest professional firm to commit to space at CityPods, after the precinct sold-out last month (July) with all 15 dual level offices snapped up for a total of more than $14 million.
A limited number of CityPods is now available for lease, priced from $375/sqm per annum including outgoings.
SRG Corporate Queensland Account Director Geoff Rudd said the new CityPods office would allow for the expansion of the Queensland branch of the company, which is headquartered in Western Australia.
He said team members from SRG Corporate and Bikesure, a division of the business specialising in bicycle insurance, would be based at CityPods.
“We outgrew our previous space at Chevron Island and were looking for a new office that was refreshing and different. CityPods fits the bill,” said Mr Rudd.
“The fact the office is brand new, a little bit funky and has a really functional floor template that we can work with made it really stand out to us.
“We will be taking four staff to the new office, but will be looking to fill it fairly quickly with about 12 staff. SRG Corporate and Bikesure have been expanding rapidly and we need the extra space to allow for the ongoing growth of both divisions.”
Mr Rudd said SRG Corporate opened its Queensland branch nine years ago at Varsity Lakes, before shifting to Chevron Island, and was keen to move back to the geographic heart of Gold Coast City because of its accessibility.
“Our staff travel a lot, especially to Brisbane, so access to the M1 Motorway and the train station is vital to us,” he said.
“We believe the new office will help attract high quality staff, due to this central location and the array of services in easy reach.
“It also offers exceptional signage opportunities and exposure to passing traffic on Scottsdale Drive, so it ticks all the right boxes.”
CityPods is home to high profile national and local firms including Macrostone, Stratus Integrated Systems, First Class Financial, Zone Planning Group, Robina Therapy, GCB Constructions, GC Property Rentals, Airport Consulting Group, Austra Group, Zenon Group, AMBS Solutions and Pyramed.
Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater said the innovative design was hitting the mark with small to medium sized businesses.
