Food rescue charity organisation OzHarvest Gold Coast celebrates its first birthday this week and the team have been reflecting on the year’s achievements nourishing Gold Coast City.
In 12 short months, OzHarvest Gold Coast has rescued 150,000 kilograms of quality excess food from generous local commercial outlets and delivered it more than 34 charities, community and church groups across Gold Coast City, who have served up 450,000 meals to those in need.
To celebrate their first birthday, OzHarvest Gold Coast have partnered with the Bombshells to present an amazing charity performance this Saturday 22 November at The Village Theatre, Sanctuary Cove.
The Bombshells is a short and sweet one-hour show, where Bombshell and her beautiful dancers will take guests on a journey through time, promising nostalgia, bombshells and Broadway style production. Musical inspiration from famous bombshells such as Marilyn Monroe, Dolly Parton, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli, classy choreography and stunning visual story telling will entertain the entire family.
For every ticket purchased to the Bombshells charity show this Saturday, OzHarvest Gold Coast will be able to donate 10 meals to those in need.
