The CBDRobina health and medical precinct has a new addition, with Allied Osteopathy – Integrative Health Clinic taking up space on the ground floor of the iconic The Rocket commercial tower.

The holistic practice opened in December 2014 and offers osteopathy, remedial massage, psychology, dietetics, nutrition and dry needling.

It has committed to a 96sqm space in The Rocket’s street level retail precinct, on a six year lease with a six year option.

Allied Osteopathy owner and principal osteopath, Brad McCarthy, said the practice would complement the array of services available in the Robina health hub.

“The surrounding area is a designated health hub, with the position of The Rocket ideally located directly opposite Robina Hospital and between two medical centres,” he said.

“It is also rather unique, particularly on the Gold Coast, to have this combination of professionals operating from the one location, and offers a holistic approach to health care covering the mind, body and nutrition.”

Dr McCarthy (osteopath) said the proximity to the motorway meant Allied Osteopathy serviced customers from across Gold Coast City.

“The practice is a one minute drive to the highway and Robina Town Centre, and there are 79 free on-site visitor carparks so it is easily accessible,” he said.

“The position in a retail precinct at the street level of a major commercial building, with glass frontagewas carefully selected not only for the convenience of patients, but also to help attract and retain the best practitioners.”

Dr McCarthy (osteopath) said the space had been purposely designed and decorated to provide customers with the best possible experience, and features five treatment rooms, including an office.

“Most of the rooms are naturally lit, the doorways and hallways are wide and the rooms sound proofed and insulated, with over 3 metre high ceilings to create the sense of space,” he said.

Allied Osteopathy is the second health business in a matter of weeks to secure space in The Rocket, on the back of national comprehensive injury protection and workplace rehabilitation solution business, IPAR,moving to the building last month.

Robina Group general manager Hylton Slater said existing approvals were in place for space in The Rocket to be used for health and medical services, which was appealing to businesses.

“Demand for health services in CBD Robina continues to grow, in line with an expanding residential and business community, and as a result we’ve also been receiving increasing enquiry from this sector,” he said.

Mr Slater said The Rocket was Gold Coast City’s premier commercial building, offering ultra modern A-grade space serviced by four high speed lifts, a high level of security and access control and dedicated basement and street level parking.

“The Rocket is unrivalled when you factor in the quality and modern design of the space and the location at the geographical heart of Gold Coast City,” he said.

Robina Group has also just released 35 strata-titled offices, ranging from 98sqm to 790sqm, and 14 street-level commercial spaces, from 65sqm to 286sqm, for sale in The Rocket, with leased investment opportunities starting from $500,000.
