GROWING tenant demand and low office vacancy in CBDRobina has prompted the Robina Group to create two new commercial offices in its waterfront building at 69 Laver Drive, formerly leased by the Australian Federal Police.

The extension of the property at 69 Laver Drive has created two ‘Riverwalk Offices’ plus additional street-level car parking.

The full first floor of 69 Laver was recently leased to Gold Coast Training Academy on a 10-year agreement.

Robina Group general manager Hylton Slater said the pace and number of recent leasing deals in CBDRobina had presented a compelling case for the company to make more space available.

“We are experiencing stronger demand for small to medium office spaces,” he said.

“With The Rocket’s office component now close to capacity and CBDRobina having Gold Coast City’s lowest office vacancy rate, it was an ideal to bring more space into the marketplace.”

The newly created ground level premium office spaces measure 157sqm and 253sqm and front the picturesque Riverwalk Waterway, with allocated basement car parking as well as street-level spaces for visitors.

With plenty of natural light and a warm shell fit out including carpets and lighting, the air-conditioned Riverwalk Offices represent an affordable option for new office space in CBDRobina.

Nick Ray, managing director of Onesector, the Burleigh-based builder appointed to undertake the extension, anticipates the works will be completed by mid-August.

69 Laver Drive sits equidistant between Robina Town Centre and the Robina Train Station and transport hub, and is close to the Robina Health Precinct, Robina Hospital and The Rocket.

The leasing campaign for Riverwalk Offices is being managed by Robina Group’s Marcus Weld.
