Keola Wellness and Pilates is now open in CBDRobina, after securing the final lease at Robina Group’s boutique Riverwalk Offices at 69 Laver Drive.

The studio has committed to a 157sqm space on the ground level of the building, on a three year lease, with a three year option.

It has become the third and final tenant in the building, joining Gold Coast Training Academy and MedRecruit, which are both now operating from 1095sqm and 250sqm spaces in the building respectively.

Keola Wellness and Pilates owners Rouxchelle Denton-Cooke and Karin O’Connell said the new studio offers Pilates and yoga classes and instructor training courses.

“The idea for the centre was born from our passion for movement and getting people to move their bodies in a way that will improve their overall wellness, assist with injury rehabilitation or sports performance,” said Ms Denton-Cooke.

“We also want to share the knowledge we have learned with both students and future teachers and will be the only approved training centre in Queensland for Stott Pilates, a contemporary form of the exercise.”

Ms Denton-Cooke, who has been practicing yoga and Pilates for over a decade, said CBDRobina was a prime location for the new studio.

“We chose to open at Riverwalk Offices because the demographic of those living and working in the immediate area is in-line with our core business,” she said.

“CBDRobina is also an expanding precinct, which is easily accessible and the property offers plenty of on-site parking, a must for a business like ours.”

Robina Group general manager Hylton Slater said Riverwalk Offices, which formerly housed the Australian Federal Police, had been extensively revamped to offer the three modern waterside office spaces.

“The new-look offices have appealed to a diverse mix of businesses, which is in keeping with the wider CBDRobina precinct,” he said.

“This area is home to an ever-growing list of major corporate companies, private commercial operators and government departments, which, across the board, are attracted by the location and wealth of lifestyle amenities in the area.

“Being at the geographical heart of Gold Coast City, CBDRobina is easily accessed by car or public transport, and it has become a key entertainment hub with everything from shops and cafes to cinemas and the Cbus Super Stadium.

“As a result, it is an appealing location for employees and therefore businesses who want to attract and retain the best staff.”

The Riverwalk Offices are centrally located, an easy 400 metre walk to Robina Town Centre and 450 metres to Robina Train Station and bus interchange.

CBDRobina commercial space is available for sale and for lease in CityPods, ideal for small to medium professionals wanting a stand-alone office space, and The Base, a new four-level premium office building adjacent to The Rocket, is now leasing.
