Robina Group has launched a campaign to sell a 5,069sqm parcel of land at the heart of its Stadium Village precinct, following strong demand for commercial land in CBDRobina.

The parcel, which fronts Centreline Place, directly opposite Robina Train Station, is being marketed by Colliers International agents Darrell Irwin and Geoff Lamb, through an expressions of interest campaign closing on July 24.

Lot 63 Stadium Village has an eight storey as of right height limit and approval for a range of uses, including education, commercial office space, medical and entertainment.

Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater said following a string of sales at the M1 Business precinct, the developer had decided to activate Stadium Village.

“Our vision is to transform this section of the masterplan into a diverse community of education, sporting, retail, entertainment and residential facilities,” he said.

“Along with CBus Super Stadium, Stadium Village is already home to the Bond Institute of Health and Sport, Robina Hospital and Robina Train Station and bus interchange, and is close to Robina Town Centre.

“We believe there is potential to create a new dedicated education, medical or sports facility at Lot 63, which will integrate with the existing amenities already operating in the Stadium Village area.

“Robina Group began activating Stadium Village in April with the launch of the Riverlily terrace home development. With all of the 71 properties already snapped up and construction work underway, the next series of projects are now being tabled.”

Gold Coast City Council also has plans to transform a large parcel of land in the precinct into extensive parkland, known as the Green Heart project.

Mr Irwin said the location of the site, at the geographical heart of Gold Coast City in the fast growing CBDRobina area, was expected to be a major draw card.

“There are limited opportunities to secure a parcel of land in a central location like this, particularly one that boasts such a sought after mix of infrastructure and amenities,” he said.

“Along with its proximity to the M1 motorway, the site is linked directly to the Robina Train station’s platforms via a flyover walkway, which further adds to its accessibility.

“With the potential to build an eight story building and a vast range of permitted uses under Robina’s own town plan – including education, student accommodation, retirement, aged care and serviced apartments – we are expecting interest from a diverse range of potential buyers.”

Mr Irwin said the clever masterplanning of the entire CBDRobina precinct made it a prime choice for cutting-edge businesses.

“CBDRobina has a real focus on modern and flexible workplaces, which is attracting new and innovative companies, along with retailers and new residents,” he said.

“It is one of the fastest growing centres in Gold Coast City and probably the only one to have a number of large parcels of greenfield land still available for development, although, with residential infill continuing, those sites are quickly diminishing.”
