A local group of Bond University students are hosting a fun-run to raise funds for a trip to the remote town of Kununurra to help kids in the area attain a brighter future.

The Kunnunurra Project team send students who are passionate about social justice to Kununurra in Western Australia twice a year to engage and interact with indigenous children and provide Save the Children with some much needed support..

This semester the students have organised a fun-run starting from Kurrawa Surf Club in Broadbeach to Nobby’s beach and back which is open to all members of the community to help raise money for the student trips in July, which can cost thousands each year.

As a student-led initiative, the Kunnunurra Project is not eligible for funding from Bond University and the team works tirelessly to raise funds for the trips each year.
