Varsity Lakes is home to a new and upcoming boutique salon that is putting pampering back on the table for Gold Coast City.
Brand new salon Ko Hair Concepts opened its doors in Market Square Varsity Lakes at the beginning of this month, offering all ladies and men’s hair services, including colour, cutting, styling and 100% Remy Tape Weft hair extensions.
Featuring newly relaunched Schwarzkopf colour and styling products, Cloud 9 Irons and curlers and the famous “O” and Dream Catcher soy wax candles, Ko Hair Concepts is bringing a fresh new style to Gold Coast City.
According to salon owner Stephanie Coe, the village feel of Varsity Lakes and its hip and trendy vibe were key attractions to opening her business here.
“Market Square is the ideal location for the salon as it is positioned at the heart of Varsity Lakes, close to all the great cafes, Bond University and schools. It’s also a short 5 minute drive from the central hub of Robina.” Stephanie said.
Working together with her builder brother to fit-out the salon, it was a family affair for Stephanie as the pair collaborated on interior design and functionality inspiration.
“Ko Hair Concepts has a modern yet comfortable feel, finished with designer furniture to make us stand out from the rest. We’re a smaller, boutique salon with three staff which creates a close, family feel and gives our clients a more personal experience. We create atmosphere and ambience with our modern finishes, fresh flowers, burning soy wax candles and through our experienced staff who are dedicated to the client experience” Stephanie said.
Ko Hair Concepts clients can expect a complimentary beverage on late nights and weekends and 30% off services and 20% off extensions during the opening month of August.
On Friday 5 September, it’s opening night at Ko, with the chance to meet the team and check out the fresh new salon. There’s a bunch of specials on offer too, including a ladies wash, blowdry and Cloud 9 styling package for just $30 and a men’s wash and cut package for only $20.
Stephanie and her team are feeling very positive about attracting regular clientele from the surrounding central Gold Coast City areas of Robina, Burleigh Heads and Miami as well as Bond University students and professors.
