AN INNOVATIVE new fitness operator is poised to open its first venue at CBDRobina’s unique commercial complex, M1X Energy Centre.
Freedom Fit Club has leased the largest tenancy, spanning 628sqm over two levels on a seven-year lease with two seven-year options, ahead of its opening in January 2014.
FFC joins existing M1X tenants Systems Cabling Australia and skin products company The Natalie Group.
Club manager Merinda Lutschini said FFC would benefit from excellent exposure to Scottsdale Drive, abundant car parking and a central CBDRobina location.
“M1X Energy Centre is a really attractive new building and it’s the type of space we need to establish our brand,” she said.
“There is a huge amount of traffic on Scottsdale Drive which is set to increase further with the upcoming opening of Masters Home Improvement.
“This exposure will be advantageous in attracting new clients and being in Robina’s central business district means we can also service the area’s growing workforce.”
The full-service gym will operate 24/7 and has a group fitness room with Les Mills classes, a cycle studio, large cardio and strength section, functional training area and unique altitude training room which is used by elite athletes to improve their performance and metabolic activity.
Gym access memberships are available from $11.95 per week on a no-contract basis. Foundation memberships are available.
Developed by Robina Group last year, the $4.2 million M1X Energy Centre introduced a unique product to CBDRobina’s commercial landscape by offering a combination of showroom, warehouse and office spaces in one facility.
The precinct can accommodate businesses ranging from an architectural or dance studio to a tile showroom or online businesses wanting their operational centre and product warehouse in one location.
The 1800sqm M1X Energy Centre sits opposite the Robina Police Station and has 38 on-grade car parking spaces, three of which are undercover, plus plenty of on-street parking opportunities.
M1X is located on the corner of Energy Circuit and busy Scottsdale Drive in CBDRobina’s emerging M1 Business Precinct, where office project CityPods and a 7-Eleven convenience centre are also under construction.
M1 Business Precinct is already home to the Australian Industry Training College, Pacifica Seafood, Condev Construction’s headquarters and East Coast Commercials.
