A NATIONAL medical device company has purchased the first space in Robina Group’s innovative $14 million CityPods project which is under construction at CBDRobina.
Specialising in the distribution of medical devices, Pyramed Pty Ltd will move its national headquarters into the 222sqm two-level premises, after snapping it up off-the-plan for an undisclosed price.
Pyramed director Patrick Hegarty said the expanding Robina-based company had been searching for a suitable new base since the beginning of the year.
“We found there were limited opportunities in Gold Coast City to buy the type of premises we were after,” he said.
“Having a substantial building to operate from with enough room to also display our stock means we can host suppliers and show them our products at the one location.
“It was also important for us to have an accessible, standalone building with our own corporate branding, so CityPods ticked all the boxes for us.”
Pyramed has been in CBDRobina for four years and will move from its current premises in Arbour Avenue when the first stage of CityPods, now under construction, is completed at the end of the year.
Mr Hegarty said the move would assist the company in its expansion plans.
“The location of the new headquarters is great, its centrality and accessibility makes it easier for us to operate.
“We are looking to expand our business across the country and CityPods is the type of property and location we need to achieve that.”
Pyramed’s Office Pod has excellent exposure to busy Scottsdale Drive and four allocated car spaces as well as access to plentiful onsite visitor parking.
Designed by DSA Architects, the open-plan building has 92sqm at street-level including a modern reception plus 130sqm of flexible office space above.
Whether choosing to purchase or lease an office within CityPods, each occupant will have the opportunity to brand their own building with extensive corporate signage.
Incorporating striking architecture and innovative building materials, on completion, CityPods will ultimately offer 15 two-level office buildings.
Sales and leasing enquiries for CityPods are being handled by Marcus Weld, of Robina Marketing Australia.
