Sustainability network invites all schools to participate
The Sustainable Schools Network, a new not-for-profit group based in Robina, is working closely with Somerset College to host the Sustainability Symposium on May 13th.
The three main objectives of the Symposium are:
- establishing a common language regarding sustainability
- addressing the 12th sustainable development goal (responsible consumption and production), and
- building partnerships for sustainable education within our local region.
Students, teachers and school communities from all Gold Coast and Tweed Shire schools are invited to learn, share & develop 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, responsible citizenship and critical thinking.
Support from outside the school community has been strong and the SSN is looking forward to igniting souls and inspiring change!
