True thrift shoppers love the hunt, and you’re bound to strike gold after some rummaging at the markets! With over 60 independent vendors on display, there will be thousands of quality second-hand fashion items to rummage through, including vintage and designer items. There will be food trucks on site, so you can grab a coffee and a treat then enjoy the early morning sunshine before browsing through the seller stalls. Remember to bring some cash along, and don’t be afraid to barter!

Organised by Fashionista Events, the Gold Coast Fashion Market attracts hundreds of shoppers wherever it pops up. Miami High School is a prime location for a weekend market, with both outdoor and indoor stalls available, a grassy outdoor sitting area and plenty of good vibes between sellers and shoppers alike. Even if you’re a first-time seller, it’s easy to sell your wardrobe with stalls from just $45 for the day. Once you sign up, you’ll receive an email outlining everything you need to know, so rest assured that the organisers have the process down to a tee. Why not round some up friends and split the cost for a stall? It’s a fun and ethical way to clear out your wardrobe – to make room for more, of course!
