Malt House is the latest dining addition to The Kitchens in Robina – a bustling urban marketplace, with an abundance of fresh food, delectable cuisine, wine, coffee and patisseries.
The much needed Malt House, Gastro Pub is the perfect place for a gathering and celebrating with an offering for everyone. It was founded out of a love for great food, great beer, great wine and above all great company. Well, Malt House certainly delivered on that, on the numerous occasions our InsideR team have wined and dined ourselves for “important celebrations”. The now popular “Gastro Pub” has quickly become a much desired destination venue for Gold Coast locals, with easy slide-in access, situated at the entrance to The Kitchens in Robina Town Centre, it will sure to be your “go to” for your next gathering too.
A contributing factor to a restaurant’s success can be the aesthetics and the crew at Malt House have managed to find the perfect balance to create a relaxed, urban pub vibe with restaurant quality cuisine.
When you arrive you will be met with spacious light-filled surrounds, endless floor to ceiling glass windows, double height ceilings with a seemingly endless trail of art-deco pendants and exposed terracotta coloured brick walls creating an industrial yet comforting vibe with soul. Although the open space is the hero of the restaurant, you have the option of getting close and cosy too, in the “lounge corner zones” or dining room with a large chefs table for that extra special private occasion.
With a focus on locally sourced produce, the Malt House team are passionate about serving good food with good service. There is something for everyone with share plates being a prominent feature. Whether it’s snacks and a drink with friends, a business lunch, an intimate meal for two or a friend filled festivity, the meals are fresh and tasty.
Dubbed as a gastro-pub, it’s only apt that the heart of the linear interior features a dedicated keg room, with viewing windows for all to see inside – and their very own signature brew, Malt House ‘The Kitchens’ Lager.
