Attention all foodies! You can head down to The Kitchens at Robina Town Centre this month for some inspiration when the celebrated cook, nutritionist and Masterchef runner-up Georgia Barnes takes the stage for a live cooking demonstration.
On Saturday 18th August, Georgia will continue her monthly series of demonstrations in partnership with The Kitchens to create dishes from a range of tasty themes. Month to month, these will range from simple pasta and sauce techniques to DIY granola recipes and grazing table ideas.
About Georgia Barnes
The Masterchef 2015 runner-up, Georgia Barnes was known throughout the series for her creative flair, incredible desserts and plating skills, but it was her bubbly personality that made her a household favourite! Now a celebrated home-cook, nutritionist and food stylist, Georgia is determined to inspire ‘kitchen confidence’ in everyday people by sharing her culinary knowledge and conducting interactive workshops and demonstrations.
Ever inspired by the beauty in real food with a ‘fresh is best’ mentality, Georgia is sure to motivate home cooks and budding chefs alike with her unique food philosophy.
Exclusive masterclasses
In addition to her monthly demonstrations at The Kitchens, Georgia will host exclusive monthly masterclasses for more enthusiastic cooks in the making. In these groups, a maximum of 10 cooking connoisseurs will have the opportunity to glean from Georgia’s experience in an intimate setting, learning some tricks and tips of the trade. Guests will also receive a goodie bag and a delicious meal prepared by Georgia at the close of the class. Tickets for the masterclasses will be available to purchase for $25 via the Robina Town Centre website, and classes will run for an hour and a half.

The next Georgia Barnes live cooking demonstration will be held from 11 am – 11:30 am on Saturday 18th August at The Kitchens stage. These are free to watch, and food lovers can look forward to monthly demonstrations at The Kitchens for the remainder of the year, right up until Christmas!
