From 4th May to 27th May 2018, the corner of Christine Avenue and Scottsdale Drive (between the Easy T Centre and Dan Murphy’s) in Robina will be transformed into Circus Rio, a world-class spectacular that celebrates the vibrant party atmosphere of Rio de Janerio’s renowned Carnival. A first in Australia, Brazilian Circus Rio is a rare and stunning display of talent from all over the globe. It’s a thrilling production based entirely on Rio’s famous Carnival, with aerialists dangling and flying from the roof, FMX motorbikes somersaulting through the air, creative ballet and samba, capoeira dancers, tightrope walkers, and acrobats flying right over your seats! With no shortage of sequins and feathers in an exciting showcase of Carnival costume and Brazilian rhythm, prepare to be inspired by the extravagance and calibre of this performance.
