Break out the Snags it’s a Weekend Warrior’s Christmas Miracle

A brand new Bunnings Warehouse will open next week in the heart of Robina. Perfect timing for handypeople wanting to tick off some home improvement projects over the Christmas-New Year break.

To celebrate, Bunnings Warehouse Robina will host its grand opening event with a range of family-friendly events on offer to welcome locals to its new store from Friday, December 14 at 5pm, and across the weekend.  For the kids, there will be no shortage of fun activities, including a jumping castle, rock-climbing wall, face painting and a special meet-and-greet with popular characters from The Trolls and Spiderman.

A special fireworks display will close the evening out with a bang on Friday, December 14 at 8pm!

Complex Manager David Leary said the team at Bunnings Warehouse Robina was excited to welcome the local community to the store by celebrating at the grand opening event.

“Our team members have worked extremely hard to prepare the store for opening and we are looking forward to helping customers with their home improvement projects, as well as providing free D.I.Y Workshops for adults and kids.”

Grand opening festivities will continue throughout December and into the New Year, with a range of fun-filled activities for the whole family on offer.

Free D.I.Y. workshops for adults and kids will be held every weekend to offer helpful advice to local residents, as well as provide inspiration for projects in the home and garden.

Bunnings Warehouse Robina will actively support a wide range of local community groups and causes through hands-on projects, local fundraising initiatives, community workshops, product contributions and of course …. what would Bunnings be without fundraising sausage sizzles?

Friday 14 December:

  • 5pm-9pm: Jumping castle, rock-climbing wall, face painters, performers, popcorn, fairy floss, snow cones, trailer mounted snow globe
  • 5pm and 7pm: The Trolls show
  • 6pm and 8pm: Trolls meet and greet
  • 8pm: Fireworks display

Saturday 15 December:

  • 9am-3pm: Jumping castle, rock climbing wall, face painters, performers, popcorn, snow cones, fairy floss
  • 11am-2pm: Spiderman meet and greet

Sunday 16 December:

  • 9am-3pm: Jumping castle, rock climbing wall, performers, wild rangers, face painting, popcorn, snow cones, fairy floss
