Last month students from the Australian Institute of Creative Design (AICD) held a photo shoot at the recently developed CityPods office precinct in CBDRobina.

The class, led by teacher Chris Booth, was on the lookout for inspiring commercial architecture they could take pictures of to practice and help the students learn different photography techniques.

AICD student Stephanie Kim Solomon said the CityPods offices were attractive buildings to photograph for the creative exercise.

“We chose CityPods because they were just down the road from our college, and being a new commercial property, the architecture of the structures is eye catching,” she said.

“I liked the bold bright colours and the angles used throughout the pods.”

You can see some of the photos taken by the students in the photo gallery above.

The Australian Institute of Creative Design has three campuses in Queensland with two based in Gold Coast City at Varsity Lakes and one in Brisbane’s Fortitude valley.

CityPods have sold quickly, with only two of the 15 stand-alone buildings still available for sale following completion earlier this year. Leasing opportunities are also available.
