Gold Coast team takes out Pitch@Palace Australia …. again!
We are thrilled to announce that after the nine successful Gold Coast entrants went on to attend Pitch@Palace bootcamp in Brisbane, followed by the Australian finals held in Sydney, it was a Gold Coast team that had the right stuff to take out the Australian title, for the second year! Congratulations to PowerWells, a social impact start-up aiming to supply electric light and mobile phone charging to people living in remote communities. It was fantastic and inspiring to watch your pitch at Bond, and we wish you all the very best at St. James Palace in London on 12 December.
Pitch@Palace 2017 saw local philanthropist and entrepreneur Nev Hyman go on to win the worldwide competition at the Palace. We will wait with excited anticipation to see who takes out the ‘crown’ this weekend!
