Welcome to the November update for Division 11, Robina. We have plenty of events to share with you.
Free Community Morning Tea
The Robina Red Cross are gearing up to host a delicious community morning tea spread next week. And the best news? It’s free – no bookings required. Come along to the Varsity Lakes Community Resource Centre on Thursday 9 November from 10am to 11.30am to chat to your neighbours and meet the Red Cross team over sandwiches and cake. I’ll also be there if you would like to come for a chat. See you then!

You’re invited to join us for a community tree planting day at the Robina Wetlands to plant 1000 native plants! Everyone is welcome on Saturday 18 November from 9am-10.30am at the Robina City Parklands (Stadium Drive, Robina). Registrations are required – so get in quick and play an active role in improving our environment: http://bit.ly/treeplantingday
Activating our skate parks
In an attempt to attract new crowds into our local skate parks, I’m looking to spearhead a unique plan to bring in live music, pop-up skate shops, juice bars and coffee shops! Take a look at the news story here: https://www.facebook.com/CrHermannVorster/videos/1995788214076679/
