It is hard to believe, but playgrounds were invented more than 200 years ago as a form of boot camp for children. Fast forward to 2016 and the modern playground is more like a theme park.

Whether your little ones like to swing happily from the monkey bars, scoot down slides or bounce on giant trampolines, there is a park in the Gold Coast’s favourite playground, Robina, that is sure to make your child’s day.

We have picked our top three, from the traditional outdoor park to modern play wonderlands.

Bounce Inc

If your kids are looking for an adrenaline rush, bring them to Bounce Inc, a massive trampoline park right in the centre of the Gold Coast, with over 50 interconnected trampolines on offer.
Your children can brush up on their basketball skills in the slam dunk arena, try their hand at wall-running, go head-to-head on the dodge ball court, polish their aerial skills or enjoy a leisurely bounce.

All that exercise will no doubt get tummies rumbling and the good news is, you do not need to bring a packed lunch! The onsite tuckshop has a range of food and drink on offer.
With Bounce Fit classes running throughout the week, even the parents can get involved. The 45 minute high intensity, low impact classes are a great way to improve all-over muscle tone and lift the heart rate, while having plenty of fun.

For the slightly more adventurous kiddies and adults, Bounce Flight Academy is the perfect class to learn more difficult somersaults, twists and layouts so you can really impress your friends.
