Renowned for helping thousands of people around the world with their health and wellbeing, internationally acclaimed Ken Ware has set up a NeuroPhysics Therapy (NPT) clinic in Robina. NPT is a time‐tested therapeutic approach that improves health conditions and wellbeing without adding medicine or physical manipulation. Mr Ware founded the phenomenal treatment 34 years ago and treats those suffering from nervous system conditions, psychophysical disease and disorders and physical ailments.

“The desire for better quality of life takes many forms,” said Mr Ware.

“Health concerns span a wide spectrum that can range from mild and irritating, to moderately or very uncomfortable, to severe and debilitating. Whether a client’s health concern is a headache or anxiety, back or joint pain, or being told they will never again be able to do certain activities again, the NPT’s holistic approach works on a variety of levels.”

Mr Ware says that NPT activates the nervous system to stimulate the brain and body to change “bad habits” and open lines of communications, allowingfor healing and return to normal function.

“I discovered that the treatment could be used as a standardised therapy as NPT engages a persons’ whole system, not just the problem area,” he said.

“Using light and controlled resistance training, NPT engages and triggers the body’s natural healing process, which has had hugely positive effects. The therapyworks with the nervous system, taping into  the body’s natural healing capabilities.”

The introduction of the clinic in Robina will provide new and exciting  health treatment options to locals whoare currently suffering from disease, illness or injury.

“The opening of the NPT clinic in Robina has been a milestone in my career as we can now assist residents of South East Queensland and beyond,” he said.

“We wanted to be located in the heart of the City of Gold Coast to allow patients to access the clinic with ease, which is why we chose Robina. In addition to servicing locals, it’s a great place to treat our clients who travel to us from interstate or overseas.

“We recently had a young man who suffered from Parkinson’s disease travel all the way from Brazil seeking treatment. He suffered from weakness on the right side of this body in both limbs. After only one day of treatment, we had restored bilateral function to that side of his body.

“For the past five years, the therapy has been presented at many scientific conferences. We are honoured to be engaging in collaborative research with Dr.Adam Kiefer, based at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio. We are presently undertaking some ground breaking research involving Epilepsy, Brain Trauma and Sleep Disorders based on the success of NPT in treating these conditions.”

The NPT clinic in Robina is not only a treatment clinic for patients but a training and research centre for students and professionals looking to study the techniques and benefits of NPT.  It also offers comprehensive corporate health and wellbeing services. Mr Ware often speaks at large scale corporate events and conferences, AGM’s and has addressed the Red Cross.

There are a range of career pathways at the NeuroPhysics Therapy Institute and Research Centre for 2016 school leavers, with January 2016 intakes now open.

“We are currently at the stage where we need to get more and more people trained and educated in NPT so that we can assist people around the world,” he said.

“As our global reputation continues to gain momentum, we are able to assist more and more people internationally.Professor Sara Ross, our CEO of the NeuroPhysics Therapy Training and Education, is also President of the International Science Society in the United States.

“Her extensive range of knowledge and credibility ensures that students from around the globe receive first class training and education to equip them with the skills to make a real difference in the world.”
