Parks

Take advantage of the 300 days of sunshine we are lucky to receive on the beautiful Gold Coast each year by heading to one of our fabulous local parks with the kids  for a picnic.

Our suggestion is Jack Wilson Park, just off Cheltenham Drive, which offers lush green grass that is perfect to run around and burn off energy.

The kids can zoom around on the flying fox, scoot down the slide and go as high as they can on the swings as they unleash their imagination inside the fenced-in playground, all under the shelter of a sail shade.

Once everyone is well and truly worn out, you can cook-up a storm on the electric barbeque to help recharge your batteries. No need to worry if you forgot the drink bottles in your haste to get out the door, the park offers a drinking fountain so you can keep well hydrated throughout the day.

You don’t have to leave your pooch at home either, as this park is an off-leash dog park, so your four legged friend can join in the fun too!
