Thank you for a great year
As we come to a close for 2017, I would like to thank you all for a wonderful year here in Division 11.
Together, we have achieved a great deal for our community and it has been a privilege to represent you and your views.
To officially close out the year, I’d like to invite you to a free community gathering on New Year’s Eve on the new waterfront stage on Varsity Parade. Join us from 5.30pm with live entertainment, kids’ activities and an assortment of delicious food trucks.
Local cafe favourite, Blackboard Coffee, will also swing open their doors with a special menu offering for the evening. Bring your picnic blanket and your favourite people and watch a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Orr at 8.30pm. Then head on over to the after party venue, Hotel CBD, on Lake Street for more live music.
As we delve into the holiday season, please stay safe on our roads and be prepared for the summer storms that may be ahead.
Finally, I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!
