Winterfest is back tomorrow

The Varsity Lakes CBD will be transformed into a hive of activity with music, art, food and family fun on Saturday 4 August, from 12pm to 8pm at the Varsity Waterfront.

The jam-packed day includes active and healthy events, a kid’s ninja course, Varsity Street Fest, fireworks and the much-loved, Symphony By The Lake!

This is an event not to be missed and there’ll be something for everyone with a full schedule of fun for both young and old.

I’m pleased to again support this event – and look forward to its bigger and better return in 2019.

Tomorrow is Secure Disposal Day

It’s never been easier to safeguard your information and destroy personal information.

Secure Disposal Day is on Saturday 4 August from 9am-12pm at Collyer Quays, Robina (adjacent to Robina Event Cinemas).

The day allows you to dispose of old tax receipts, information, bank statements and anything paper-pased for just a gold coin donation – plus, you’ll have a chance to win some great prizes!

I’m happy to present this day along with Shred X, Gold Coast District Neighbourhood Watch and Robina Town Centre.

All proceeds go to Gold Coast District Neighbourhood Watch and a free sausage sizzle will be provided by Robina Lions Club.
