Robina Group will release two new boutique development sites in the heart of CBDRobina this week to meet high demand, after three development sites were snapped up last month alone.
Demand for approved sites has prompted the release of two boutique sites of 2,300sqm and 2,769sqm respectively, located in CBDRobina’s rapidly-growing Stadium Village precinct, at the corner of Promethean Way and Centreline Place.
The lots have the potential to accommodate a range of operators who will benefit from strong transport and infrastructure proximity, with both sites situated less than 100 metres from Robina Train Station and within walking distance of the Bond University Institute of Health and Sport and CBus Stadium.
With development approval in place for office, showroom, medical and residential uses, up to 50 bedrooms, and a height limit of eight storeys, the sites present a unique opportunity for either commercial or mixed-use development.
The parcels are being marketed by Colliers International Special Projects National Director, Darrell Irwin, and Associate Director, Geoff Lamb, through an ‘offers to purchase’ campaign, closing May 25.
Mr Irwin said the location and sizes of the sites on offer would pique the interest of both owner-occupiers and developers.
“It is rare to find lots of this size, which are so well connected to existing infrastructure, including transport, sporting and health facilities, and nearby retail amenities,” he said.
“The total site area is 5,069sqm, which has been subdivided into two, to provide an opportunity for boutique development in a prime CBDRobina location.
“Demand for lots of this size continues to climb, as is evidenced by the quick off market sell-out of a recent subdivision of three sites in Stadium Village, which all settled in March.
“Childcare provider Sunkids was among those to purchase and is now planning its third centre in CBDRobina in as many years, which is further evidence of the phenomenal growth underway in this area, across both the residential and business communities.
“The latest sites can be purchased in-one-line if desired but, due to the limited opportunities to secure lots of this size, with such a broad scope of development potential in CBDRobina in recent years – and strong demand from businesses – I’m expecting they will more likely be taken up individually.”
Robina Group General Manager Hylton Slater said the development parcels provided a prime location to capitalise on the next stage of growth in CBDRobina.
“There is a pipeline of new projects already being rolled out in and around Stadium Village, which will really transform this whole precinct over the next few years,” he said.
“Robina Group’s $170 million Vue Terrace Homes community is located in this precinct and has already achieved more than $19 million in sales, as buyers look to secure a front row seat to what is expected to be one of Gold Coast City’s most significant parkland projects, the 2,929 hectare City Park.
“With construction expected to start on Vue Terrace Homes in the coming months and the anticipated population growth this new community will bring, now is the right time to take these sites to market to allow a business or developer to help grow Stadium Village into CBDRobina’s newest destination.”
All three sites that have just sold in Stadium Village were approved under the Robina Central Planning Agreement (RCPA), which guides the development of Robina.
The RCPA supports a wide mix of uses and provides town planning advantages, offering flexibility and innovation opportunities to businesses investing in Robina.
