As part of this year’s upcoming Bleach Festival, Bond University and the team at Bleach have partnered up to present the Poetry Gallery on Sunday 15 March.

Fusing literature with visual art, the Poetry Gallery will showcase a visual exhibition of local writers poetry works, with the aim of inspiring appreciation of this valuable creative artform.

Open for all members of the public to enter and completely free of charge, poems are submitted online and writers whose work is accepted into the Poetry Gallery will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive poetry master class as part of the Bond and Bleach collaboration.

Focussing on refining and developing poetic voice, experimental poetry and creating performance poetry, the master class will be run by acclaimed and award-winning poets Pascalle Burton and David Stavanger.

Enter your piece of poetry by this Sunday 1 March for your chance to showcase your art in the Poetry Gallery and attend by invitation the exclusive master class.

Visit the poetry exhibition from 2pm Sunday 15 March at Bond University’s Robina campus, located in the Amphitheatre courtyard.

Feast your eyes on poetry and then stick around campus to feast your ears on one of Australia’s most spectacular Indigenous performers, Christine Anu, performing live as part of Bond University’s Live at Bond free concert series.
