Robina to benefit this event season

It’s that time of year when we embrace the sunshine, our green environment and the community events that are beginning to pop up around the city. There’s certainly a lot on the cards for Robina residents, so here’s a local guide to read up on what’s happening and when.

As usual, keep an eye on Hermann’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/crhermannvorster for regular community updates and free event information.

Tuesday 23 October in Robina

Robina residents are invited to my next Town Hall meeting to be hosted at Club Robina from 7pm at 263 Ron Penhaligon Way.

These meetings are for residents to hear first-hand what’s happening in the area, report things that need fixing and be the first to know what’s in the pipeline! This meeting will also include an informative update from City Officers on our Robina lakes. So, if you have a lake on your doorstep or enjoy lake walks on the weekend, make sure to be there to learn more about the City’s activities in relation to our lake systems.

There’ll be delicious light refreshments served up by the friendly community bowls club plus tea and coffee available – come along to meet your community and be informed with local news. Kids welcome.

Let me know if you’re attending for catering purposes: https://www.facebook.com/events/209986526220995/

Saturday 3 November in Robina

The free fishing competition, Tilapia Busters, returns to Robina next month and it promises to be a big one.

If you’re an avid fisher or simply like to throw in a line every once in a while, then come along to this event for a chance to hook some great prizes while you’re at it!
