Thriving Robina

Robina is currently host to a variety of exciting development projects and we’ve compiled a list of some of the major projects underway right now or planned for the near future. In our next insideR we will touch on some infrastructure projects underway.

Vue Terrace Homes

This new $170 million residential community is situated opposite CBus Super Stadium on East Lane, close to Robina Train Station and transport hub.

Stage One of Robina Group’s newly launched Vue Terrace Homes will consist of 71 three bedroom plus media, two level Terrace Homes. The gated community will also feature resort- style facilities with a swimming pool, relaxation zones and barbecues, set amongst decking and tropical landscaping.

CityVillage

This award-winning project comprised 6 stages for a total of 206 terrace homes, developed by Robina Group. Construction of the final stage is now nearing completion, with only the final touches remaining. It’s completion wrapps up a $250M injection into the heart of Robina by developer, Robina Group.

CityVillage was recognised at the prestigious Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Awards as the top medium density development in Queensland and it was also a national finalist .

Boheme Apartments

Enjoying a prime position at the entrance of the CityVillage precinct close to Robina Town Centre, the two towers of the fully sold out Boheme Apartments consist of 52 apartments in tower one and 77 apartments in tower two. Facilities include a podium level saltwater pool, undercover electric BBQs, lush native tropical landscaping and vine covered arbour.

Currently, construction is full steam ahead and with the scaffolding now coming down, is expected to wrap up very shortly.

Sunkids Children’s Centre

A new Sunkids Children’s Centre is planned for Robina after operator Kinder Educentres purchased a second parcel of land in Robina. The 2,302sqm development site, which recently settled, is located on Stadium Drive, adjacent to Bond University’s Institute of Healt & Sport and just a stone’s throw from the new Vue Terrace Homes project and Robina Train Station.

Construction is expected to begin in the second half of 2017 (pending Council approval), with a mid-2018 opening.

The centre is expected to offer 105 places.

Robina Home + Life

Drive along Christine Avenue and you can’t miss Robina Home + Life, well and truly under way opposite Robina Automall.  The lifestyle/showroom precinct is being developed by QIC to meet rising interest in renovations and upgrades for the home.

Businesses pre-committed to the new centre include:

  • Pet Stock
  • Toys R Us / Babies R Us
  • Kitchen Connection
  • The Reject Shop
  • We have also heard (unconfirmed) sneaky reports that a big name appliance retailer will also be joining this homemaker centre.

Currently Robina Home + Life is scheduled to be completed by August 2017 and consists of a massive 14,770 square metres of retail space.

Upon completion, the development will feature 14 retailers and over 300 carparks.

New College for Stadium Village

Arcadia College, owner of Ohana for Youth, has secured a 2,500sqm parcel of land in Robina’s education hub near Bond University’s Institute of Health & Sport and planned Sunkids site.

With a school already in Varsity Lakes, Arcadia is looking to expand to Robina. It provides independent secondary schools designed for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.

Robina Professional Centre

The $5M refurbishment and extension of this new office building is now complete, with spaces available for lease approved for office, medical and education uses.  With offices from 152 to full floors of 728sqm available, for a limited time Robina Group is offering 6 months free high speed internet (conditions apply).

Botanique Terrace Homes

Situated amongst luscious green space off Glenside Drive, Botanique is a 230 three bedroom terrace home project consisting of four stages with Stage 1 now complete and Stage 2 construction nearing completion.

Selling out in less than 12 months, the $130 million project saw high demand for its ultra-contemporary home designs and ideal location.
