Jimmy Grants

We covered this one in last month’s insideR, but definitely worth another mention – George Calombaris’ Jimmy Grants is coming to Robina! Only available in Melbourne previously, the casual Greek eatery has earned plenty of praise for its souvlakis.

Naked Treaties

This Byron Bay based company is all about healthier sweet treats and is coming to the Gold Coast bringing a delicious range of handmade organic, raw, vegan, dairy-free and refined sugar-free desserts, treats, cold pressed juices and organic coffee, and smoothies. You’ll also be able to enjoy gourmet salad jars, raw nachos, sprouted bread toasties and activated buckwheat crepes.

Fish Lab

Seafood lovers can experience the latest venture by award-winning chef William Wu. Featuring fine dining or takeaway and even a selection of retail products for an all new unique seafood destination.  Experience fresh, local seafood and a mix of international favourites.

Mr Pig’s Bakehouse

Owner-chef, James Brady’s latest exciting new venture is a bakehouse focusing on handmade, artisan loaves of bread daily as well as savoury baked goods. Known as the creator of popular Surfers Paradise eatery Pigs and Pints and signature restaurant Samphire Bites, this is one to watch out for.

“We’re doing more than just the bakehouse at The Kitchens. We’ll be doing some other things with the other operators; a couple of really special events, Samphire-style events.

“It will be really focused on modern, refined dining.

“Cooking classes, dinner parties, degustation dinners … there’s a huge amount going on there,” James Brady

Eshai Teahouse

Tea lovers will be able to experience an exciting range of premium teas true to their cultural roots served in traditional teaware.

“We want to bring that celebration, we want to bring that love behind making that cup of tea,” Ronia Elmaarraoui

Mark Daniel’s Patisserie

Trent Scarr is the chef behind this new venture and will focus on creating fancy dishes with a combination of French and Asian techniques. Honeyeater Kitchen will have breakfast, lunch and dinner options along with a premium wine selection.

Lavezzi

This gelato franchise has its roots all the way back in Italy to 1870.  Steeped in history and tradition, you can be sure you’ll enjoy some of the finest and authentic gelato, sorbet and desserts on the coast. Made fresh in-house daily with 25 flavours to choose from – we think we will be particularly partial to the blood orange … mmmmmmm.

There are plenty of reasons to come into Lavezzi.  Why not sample some of the goodies on offer at The Kitchens and head over for a a palate cleanser 🙂 Is this the best gelato ever?  We’ll let you be the judge!
