The 2017-18 City Budget – what’s in it for you?

Early this week Council handed down its second budget: keeping rates pegged to CPI; paying down debt; and funding job generating projects.

But I’m most excited about our local budget. It takes decisive action on crime, continues to tackle traffic congestion and makes the most of our open space.

For a complete rundown of the Division 11 budget, I’ve put together a quick 5-minute video. Or you can keep reading for some of the major announcements.
